What is 3D laser scanning?

3D laser scanning accurately captures the shape, dimensions and details of existing buildings and structures to create a highly detailed 3D point cloud.

Point cloud data can be used to produce accurate measured building surveys, floor plans, elevations and sections, as well as providing survey information for BIM and 3D modelling.

Quadrant Surveys provides 3D laser scanning across Torquay, Plymouth, Exeter, Devon and the South West using professional FARO laser scanning equipment.

At Quadrant our experienced fully licenced UAV pilots have the capability to capture drone-generated images and use cloud-based photogrammetry platforms to process high-quality orthomosaic maps and 3D models.
